I have added some additional details.
Shubham7330 - well done on the quant!
Some more details can help assess your profile and accordingly the strength of your GMAT score better:
- How were your undergrad grades, and which university did you attend?
- On the professional front, how many years work-ex do you have, which companies/ roles, etc.?
- Any extracurriculars worth highlighting?
- Which schools are you looking at?
Hope this gives you an indication on what areas are being assessed in addition to the score.
Feel free to reach out for a detailed discussion.

Hello folks,
I gave my first attempt on GMAT Focus today, after months of preparation, and got a score of 665.
Sectional Scores: Q90, V82, D77.
It was surprising to see that my Quant score was perfect. In mocks, my Verbal was upto 85 percentile and DI was between 80th and 90th percentile, and quant was around Q80-84. I wanted an opinion on these scores, considering I don't come from an Engineering Background.
I am going to begin exploring the application part now for class of 2026, and I wanted an opinion should I appear again?
Is this score is good enough for top competitive schools?
How should I be approaching my applications now?
Thanks in advance
