Hello all,
I'm Siva, and I've finished my graduation in Business Administration in October 2015 (including 6 months of internship). I'm now looking forward to getting admitted into a good B-School to help improve my skills. I've started preparing for GMAT, but I have a confusion regarding the Work Experience factor.
Let me write down my timeline as an Entrepreneur.
In May 2012, just before starting my BBA course at the age of 18, I started my first proprietorship company. The business was all about video game distribution, involving B2C and B2B. It involved import and export of video games. However, due to lack of proper guidance
(my father is a public servant and none of my family members had any slightest idea about businesses), I never did it in a systematic way. I mean, I was employing around 3-5 back then but never did it in a professional way, they were mostly freelancers. I did this while persuading my education and received a lot of compliments from professors at my college. However, due to various reasons, I limited my business to just a small one. This business still exists, but with a little or no activity.
After finishing my graduation, I teamed up with a person with a lot of experience in this industry and launched a new business (registered in June 2016). We are now in the final phase of launching an eCommerce store. The future looks quite optimistic
I need an MBA to abolish any dilemma in what I'm doing, and I'm sure I can manage this business while still studying.
Any help in clearing out my confusion wrt my WE will be highly appreciated
I also request you to help me in choosing a university to reach my specified goal.
P.S.: I'm from India.
Regards,
Siva.
