Hi everyone, I’m new here and just starting my GMAT prep journey. I’ve been reading through older discussions and honestly the amount of detailed advice on this forum is impressive. Right now I’m trying to balance Quant fundamentals with timing practice because accuracy drops for me under pressure.
For those who improved from around 600 to 700+, what helped you the most: official mocks, error logs, or focused topic practice?

Since you are just about starting your prep, I wouldn't worry about time Davednick.

Focus on concept building at this stage; as your preparation progresses, time discipline will come.

Hello everyone, I am a motion Designer with around 3 years of experience. I also handle brand strategy and campaign execution. I am planning for ISB to pivot hard into marketing. I haven’t done maths since 8rh since it was optional. How do I prepare for it, everything is just overwhelming. I realistically have 2 months to give GMAT. Aditya Kumar and GMAT ninja just go right on top of my head. How do I prepare for it and how much should I realistically aim for. Any guidance would be appreciated

Consider engaging with a High School Maths instructor (not a GMAT instructor) for one-on-one classes, to build your quant concepts, before you start GMAT specific prep. This approach will be more efficient and economical HollowShoe.

Having said that, two months of time that you have given yourself, might prove inadequate since you are starting from scratch. Targeting the R2 deadline of ISB would be more realistic.

I know hardly anything about your profile...your degree, your college, your grades, your employers, your duration of experience...these things matter you know :)...median is 675 at ISB. So, see if you can get close to it.

Hello All,
I am planning to give GMAT in next 14 days and my target is to get anything between 595-615. Any strategy you guys can suggest which can help me . I am not that good in performing in such exams .

Analyze your mocks carefully and by that I mean if you are taking more time on some questions like 5 to 6 mins or even 4 mins. That’s a sign that you need to let go of such questions and you should be good at determining which questions are those after reading them once or twice which will save your time because you can’t answer all the questions atleast that’s true for me(it’s good if you can). Also, don’t try to learn anything new or try to do some new concept. Do give time to all the three sections. Don’t think that if your one section is strong then it’s okay not to practice it.
