Any suggestion on where to start preparing my quants and verbal as I am unfortunately weak in both the sections by default.

Hi, I scored a 700 Q49, V36 in my 1st attempt yesterday, suggestions on how can I increase it to 750?
Hi somya_dengre,

That's a very good score!

Unfortunately(?), because it is such a good score (and your Q/V scores are good as well), you most likely don't have any major weaknesses.

All the best for the retake.

To get 750, you have 2 options:
1) get V42
2) get Q51 and V40
You can pick the road you want and likely need to focus on verbal at minimum. It is a tougher road than quant but possible if you can do better in RC. Usually that’s everyone’s weakest area.

Hey!
Hope everyone’s well!
**Personal case scenario**

I tried mock from manhattan test booklet - was making say 7-9 mistakes in quant & 15-17 mistakes in Verbal - with no prep at all.
Last week gave my first GMAT Mock and was shook by the result baseline score came out to be 510
making 12-15 mistakes in quant & 22+ mistakes in verbal.
Started prepping from ground up and focused on my basics for the last week. (solving easy + Medium level questions on GMAT Club)
Tomorrow I will reattempt the practice test to see if there was any effective prep over the week.

Ideally how many mistakes can i afford in verbal to keep the score in late thirties or 40ishh
And quant - 48+

Also, if any expert can help me advise on a prep plan for the next 30 days, as I have my GMAT on 16th October.
A little background - I have a decent record of academics and a quant-focused background, although I haven’t been in touch with studies at all for the past 3.5 years.

I would suggest getting a quant or a verbal book/guide. Taking it one question at a time is a lengthy process. If you only have 1 month, you want to spend as much time as you can learning and less time taking questions hoping to learn something.

Well, you are not alone buddy, we all went through this phase. Even though I am still on my GMAT journey, and I am also not an expert, but I will want to inform you that reading a book (non-fiction) every day for few hours, reading newspapers, following a study plan diligently and most important of all "Having patience" on myself helped me a lot. All the best!

I found a link to gmat prep questions on GMAT Club. Arey they only for test 1 and 2?
I mean if I have attempted official test 1 and 2 and solve the questions in the link now, is there a chance I find the same questions in test 3 and 4?

Hi. New to this area.

Was wondering is there any major changes in the Verbal & Quant for the Focus Editions

I have the 2022 books with me (for verbal & quant) and was wondering should I buy the Bundle for the Focus Edition or just the Official Guide & Data Insights

Hello,?
I am currently a mathematics teacher for primary and grade 7 and I want to grow financially and I want to go for the big PGCE or GMAT tutor certificate,
Any advice would be much appreciated.
I don’t even know anything about how to become a GMAT teacher, nor GRE.

Hi guys! I joined this forum last month but haven’t been that active.

Are there any members beginning GMAT prep with an undergraduate degree in arts and humanities/non-quant background? If so, I am looking for some study buddies and have written a post should you be interested :)

Good luck everyone in your preparation!
