Most courses are designed for about three months. It’s highly recommended that you stick to the timeline instead of taking an extended period of time.

This probably assumes about 15 hours of studying per week. This does not mean fondling a book or clicking around for 15 hours. This means active engaged fresh

Hi everyone, I’m new to gmat and just researching resources to use ...a bit overwhelmed . 1. Any tips to narrow down most effective for verbal and quant? 2. Is there a benefit to buying the 2022 OG myself to have access to the online bank .....i have the pdf passed down to me for free but no access to online bank 3. what is the difference btw the 2022 OG guide and the separate Verbal/Quant OG guides ...any benefits?

Not yet, and I have recently started preparing. Can you suggest some books for the practice and also to clear basics for the quant section?

Are you preparing on your own or taking any classes/coaching?

damn man, now this is the third fake TTP account I have encountered. They are really good at marketing themselves I guess! without any integrity whatsoever! I think gmatclub should be much more vigilant about TTP. If they are engaging in such activities, which I am pretty sure they are, then there should be some repercussions to that. maybe they lose 50 reviews for every one such demeanor? Gmatclub needs to take a much stronger approach to this or otherwise if everyone of them test prep companies started engaging in such degrading activities then pretty soon there would be 10 test prep accounts for every 1 real user account. So wouldn’t be good in my opinion.!

Hi, can anyone suggest the best prep course between Magoosh and eGMAT??
It depends on a few things. eGMAT is extensive and will take more time to cover the course and improve the score more. Magoosh is going to cover the details a lot faster, skipping some of the finer details but get you there much faster. Magoosh is a better ROI of your time because it is a more intensive and compact course. eGMAT will get a higher score but a higher time commitment. So... if you want maximum score improvement and you are willing to put in the time, then eGMAT is better but if you want to a faster improvement with less effort/at a faster pace, Magoosh is better

I also was planning to join Magoosh, but I am a bit tight on budget so was thinking to prepare on my own. But that’s making me so confused about everything. I am a complete mess and worried right now. Any suggestions will be appreciated:)

Re: New to GMAT Club - Post Your Questions Here [#permalink]
hi, does anyone have time to solve a quant problem? I’m making a basic error somewhere but I cannot find it even though I looked at the solution

“1. United Telephone charges a base rate of $10.00 for service, plus an additional charge of $0.25 per minute. Atlantic Call charges a base rate of $12.00 for service, plus an additional charge of $0.20 per minute. For what number of minutes would the bills for each telephone company be the same?”
