1. Getting an employment pass is tough at the moment, but there are companies ready to sponsor it as long as you fit in. Till now there have hardly been any case of students having to go back to their country because of not getting EP. Industry experts predict things to get better Jan 2020 onwards. So I don’t think you should worry about it..
2. A mix of companies recruit, slightly inclined towards tech. Singapore in general is becoming more of a tech hub, specially with a great startup scene. Top tier consulting don’t hire, second tier consulting hire a lot,eg. Bts, simon kutcher. Finance is also decent, fintech is great. FMCG recruits, png, unilever. In tech almost all big companies hire, Microsoft, Amazon, google, adobe, sap,hp, grab. It’s all about making connections and fitting in, I have seen people get into top consulting or finance firms too. Refer to the site for data.
3. In most global/international schools there no culture of on campus recruitment in general. Nus career services does facilitate career events where you can make connections. You will be assigned a career adviser and you can work with him/her to make connections. So yeah job search is highly self driven. The more meaningful connections you make, more the chances of landing up a job. But this year specifically the career services at Nus has improved I would say, lot of intitiaves being taken to prepare students.

- Is NUS MBA course/syllabus ,case-study based? As heard Abt Harvard. Can u give rough breakup Abt theory ND case-study in d curriculum.
-Can u share some differences in part-time nd fulltime,From student ND teachers point of view.
-what are the scholarship available for international-part time students
In 1st Sem out of 5 core modules, one is completely case study based (no theory), others vary between heavy case studies(5-6), to light (2-3). Moving on it depends on kind of electives you take.
From students point of view part time courses are exactly same, classes are in evening, you can chose less subjects, complete the course in longer time. Teachers for most subjects are same, course material is exactly. Part time and Full time even have the same exam.
There is merit scholarship available for full time, i am not sure about part time. you might want to write to admission office to check.

Hello,
I submitted my NUS MBA application on October 16, 2018 and haven't heard back since then. On the application portal, my status still shows as 'Application Processing.' They say that it generally takes 6-8 weeks to evaluate profiles. Does NUS have a process to send out rejection emails at some point of time? Or should one assume that application is rejected if no response post 8 weeks from application date? The wait is getting really frustrating, and I have only received template responses to my specific questions from NUS, which haven't been helpful. Will appreciate any guidance on this front.

Hi Naman, What are the prospects for energy professionals at NUS? In which companies do graduates in general land post-MBA, Energy firms or management/strategy consulting? Thanks in advance.
