One other thing that has got me confused is this -
"Please introduce yourself to your future classmates via a brief video statement.

Videos should be a single take (no editing) lasting no more than one minute."

Why does it say 'videos' instead of video. Are we supposed to upload more than 1 video but limit is 60 seconds? Even below they constantly talk about files instead of a file. I don't know what do they mean?

Note that it says 'a video statement'. its only one

I wanted to connect with Sloan students and alums before the interview stage (if I get there). Any suggestions on how to go about it. The website is not helpful here

Yes, I think we should include address etc since in the prompt they mention that "your letter should conform to a standard business correspondence"

There's a page which lists all the student clubs (along with their email addresses). Some of these clubs also have individual webpages which give more details on the executive members of the club.

https://mitsloan.mit.edu/student-life/clubs/

Linkedin search is always available as well.

Has anyone else submitted their application and it told them that the fee has been waived? I did not plan for my application fee to be waived.

Please help! My video is 1 minute 05 seconds long. Do you think this is okie or do I have to edit it to 1 minute? Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Is a little deviation over the suggested limit tolerable?

If you ask my personal opinion, I think it should be fine. There's no point doing it again just to shave off 5 seconds.

My application fee was also waived. I think I read it somewhere that other people were also reporting the same issue. As long as we submitted the application successfully- I guess that's fine!

I would redo it. You need to follow instructions. MIT focuses a lot on how you can work within the constraints they provide and be succinct

I had a 1:00 video in windows media player which appears as 1:01 on the MIT website unless you preview it where it shows up as 1:00. Yes, two different times on the website. Don't know why.

Same here. I'm not going to redo the video though.

I am not sure about this. You were supposed to make the payment first and then submit the application as clearly stated in the application process. Waiver was only for those who availed it using the form provided that too a week in prior.

Same here. My video was exactly 1.00 and shows up as 1.01 in the player. Don't think it matters because in substance, it is within the 60sec limit and it is just the software that is disclosing it incorrectly.

Submitted it earlier today. It was my last application. Now it's time to wait - Phew!
