Not at all. Apparently we weren't even supposed to send a thank you to specific interviewers but the general adcom email and that automated "Thank You" email was basically our 'reply'. It doesn't matter either way. I sent it to a specific interviewer too, but I've had friends receive a note back with no admit and friends who didn't receive a note back and got admitted.
