I also think that they don't send it in a time line order. I submitted my application in mid December and never heard anything yet. One thing though, if they decided to reject application, then it's understandable why there is no answer, because dings will be sent out on Jan 26.

Unless it ensures the smoothness of the interview process, I fail to understand this. Why not to send the dings in the same order as well? Well, maybe it's just me

This is driving me crazy. So dings will be sent on the 26th? If I don’t hear anything before then, it’s over?

If memory serves, we may or may not receive an official ding until early Feb. However, if you don't get the invite by 26th, you're dinged.

maybe school enjoys the high volume traffic on their web site these days:-) I also find the process a bit frustrating, although better than in GSB (waiting over the months of rolling invites).

I can barely concentrate at work with this waiting - should I start worrying and just write this one off because it seems like a ton of US invites went out and now Europe/ME/LATAM are going.

I'm in the same boat. I don't think you can write it off yet since they can go through Friday for a reason. However, it is hard to deny that every hour that slips by feels like chances are getting slimmer. Terrible way to spend a week for sure.

ETA - I also havent yet seen reports of today's wave of emails going out so 'technically' still 3 chances to get invited.

Seemingly so :-) GSB's policy seems a bit fair to me, at least it's on "first come, first served" basis. This one is a reverse first come first served, assuming the comment above :-)

Looks like the wave for today went out already, all foreign students it appears. Congrats everyone. I'm guessing based on past rounds that there's going to be a very small group of invites tomorrow and then dings friday. Not looking like there's a ton of invites left to go out, hopefully I'm wrong.

Depending on where you look, it appears a decent number of domestic invites still went out on the last day of Round 2 last year. Now, it may not be as many as other days but I don't think I'd count it out just yet. Best of luck and fingers crossed still to you!

Thanks.

I just did some research and some beer-math and based on the past couple years' round 1 and 2 invites there are still 33%-50% of invites still to go out.

Of course this is based on the assumption that the numbers on the livewire are accurate, so by no means scientific. But those of us that still haven't received an invite, there's still hope. We've got probably another batch tomorrow and very small few on Friday I'd imagine.
