Confirming this. From the decision tracker, I see all R2 invites so far have been for the US based applicants.

The number of available slots keeps on getting updated with every new wave of invites. The invites keep coming at least a month after the application submission date. Hang in there and good luck! :)

Btw, Darden R1 admit here. Happy to help with the interview prep and other application related stuff.

Seems like a low amount of invites have gone out compared to prior years. I wonder if that’s because of the new early action round.

On 23rd i received an email from Darden to apply by 10th January. I might be thinking to much, but did anyone else get a similar mail too?

I saw an invite for a China based applicant on clearadmit. Seems like international invites are going out as well :/

Invites seem to be slow/nonexistent. I wonder when they’ll start to actually trickle out or if this new early action round has made round 2 at Darden pretty worthless.

Wow this thread is so silent. Seems like early round has cannibalized round 2 invites this year. Bit disappointed as I really like Darden!

Yeah, I agree. Historically, Darden has sent out a lot more invites by now. I think early action has impacted that. In addition, maybe they’re trying to wait a little bit longer to see how R1 shakes out for them since the R1 deposit is due on 2/19. Maybe we’ll see more next week once the R1 class has solidified a little more.

Yeah I agree with your reasoning. Let’s wait and watch. Maybe we get invites mid-Feb, but this means they don’t consider the remaining applicants as priority=can’t expect scholarships. I guess they invites stellar profiles only last week.

No news isn't bad news, it's not over until its over. I'm trying not to worry until mid-February but it's pretty difficult not to hit refresh over and over again on ClearAdmit and GMATClub.

True, but we're not at that point yet. They've only done one round of interview invites and there's still a round 3.
