I just took a GMATPrep Test last week Wednesday (15th February 2012) and I scored a 390 (Math 11, Verbal 28). I really felt bad and as a result, I rescheduled to take my test from 1st March 2012 to 31st May 2012. I have restarted studying for the test by going through a basic study guide such as the Kaplan GMAT Premier 2012. I intend to use this book for a week before taking a new GMAT CAT Practice Test.
One thing to note was that I was getting a lot of early questions wrong in succession. I also had a lot of problems with the following question types:
1. Critical Reasoning
2. Reading Comprehension
3. Data Sufficiency in Quantitative Sections
My aim will be to improve to a 700 score on my GMAT exam, and I have the whole time to work on this test as I am not employed at the moment.
My questions are:
1. What is the best way to attack Critical Reasoning?
2. What is the best way to attack Reading Comprehension?
3. What is the best way to attack Data Sufficiency
4. Any resources that can help me greatly on improving in these sections
5. Any resources on helping me reduce possible testing anxiety?

Your questions are very generic. My suggestion (that is how I did), you must browse through the forum and first firm up your Study Plan. Note, no section is easier than the other. You have almost mentioned every section. Which is fare for anyone who is just starting prep. Go through the course reviews in the forum, very specific, see which one suits you, which level you fit in, then you decide the courses - basic, advanced etc. One thing I learned that never hit all sections together, time yourself for each section prep before moving on to next section prep. This way I knew how many months prep I need (might vary slightly closer to date), but you will know the overview. Monitoring timely improvements or otherwise, will be essential. There are many threads in the forum to guide you through each question of yours once they are more specified (sorry I dont know how to attach links, so you need to browse for the same in forum). Take 7 days to get accustomed to the forum (since you have full time to yourself), then make your plan and then proceed. Hope this gives you some basic guideline to start the journey.

I suggest the following :
1. Get some good notes for verbal & quant. Most are available in the GMAT Club forum itself
2. Beg / borrow / steal the OG 12 & attack it viciously
3. Since you dont have I would suggest you try some 700 + problems just to get a feel how to solve them
