Re: Yale SOM Calling all 2018 intake applicants - Class of 2020 [#permalink]
Just a note here - The behavioral assessment request is likely a selection pilot, given it was not present at the first deadline. Anyone tasked with iterating on a truly data-driven selection model will perform selection pilots. In all likelihood, it does not factor into admission, and they will look at the assessment data for those who are ultimately admitted in concert with a performance metric (like performance in the Year 1 core curriculum, for instance) to see if there are patterns, and then they will make a determination if they want to introduce the assessment in subsequent seasons. Very normal, nothing to stress over!

For the pre-interview quote do they just want a quote or would they like us to expand on why the quote is meaningful too? The text field doesn't seem to have a limit so I thought I'd check. Any R1 folks who know the answer?

You only need to submit the quote. You will be discussing why it is important to you during the interview.
