Query for the concept:
If Ax+by=c is general form of eq. Then can we say that Ax-by=c is also the general form of eq.?

No, the general form of eq is Ax+By=C the B can be both positive and negative.

Why not ! It can be ! ‘ b’ is just a constant! In thé second case b is becoming -b . u can rename -b= b’ ; And it’s back to the 1st form ! So, I would say it doesn’t matter !

The negative value of b just changes the slope of the line but it still remains eqn of a line.

and a & b will not be equal to 0

well in that case shouldn’t you consider -Ax+by=c and ax+by=-c and -ax-by=c and -ax-by=-c and then all the other combinations possible? Well, it is called the general form because it covers all the possible cases. ax+by=c where the constants can be anything, positive, negative, zero, fractions, irrationals, just anything!

If you take ax -by = c or any other equation as standard , constants can still be positive negative fractions! For our own convenience, we choose ax + by = c format ! But that doesn’t not mean other formats are not valid !

Actually I was seeing aditya kumar video on algebra , and he was explaining for diophantine equation (if anybody has seen that video you will get it) so in that I thought what if it's Ax-by=c

ax + by = c is the general form, if you see any equation like 4x-2y=8 just take b=-2.

Hi everyone,

Could anyone share a good GMAT Club Quiz template for Reading Comprehension?

I really like the pre-saved "High Quality CR Questions" template and was wondering if there’s something similar for RC.

I’ve been struggling with RC for a while and would like to practice passages that are closer to the actual GMAT exam format, where a passage is typically followed by 3–4 questions. When I create RC quizzes on GMAT Club, I often end up getting passages with 7–8 questions, which doesn’t feel very representative of the exam experience.

If anyone has a recommended template or settings they use, I’d really appreciate it.

Guys just a small clarification required. I gave a gmat official mock and while reviewing I can see which one is the correct answer but there is no explanation to the correct answer. Do they not provide explanations for their answers or am I missing something. If they do, please help me with finding those.
