I did not take mock yet since I am very out of touch of quant specifically, I would get a very less score which might demotivate unnecessary. I want to give mock when I am a bit prepared atleast half. What are your views?

Would agree with you. Do you have a Quant background in school though Prajitp?
If not, it might actually be more effective to engage with a private high-school mathematics instructor (not a GMAT instructor), build the basics, and then join a formal GMAT course.
