Hello Everyone, I have recently initiated preparing for GMAT. And lots of content being out there is very overwhelming. I have brushed up my concepts using GMAT focus official guide and started with GMAT club practice question banks by selected topics. Is this the correct approach to go by? Can someone pls help me out here? Thanks in advance

You can take the practice test and see where you stand right now, then plan accordingly .

Since y is a multiple of 5, the only possible values of 4y are with unit digit 0. If 3x + 4y = 200, i.e. the unit digit of the eq is 0, the only possible value of 3x is when the unit digit is 0. out of the options, only 10 fits.

Since y =5k, 4y =20k and 3x =20(10-k).
Since 20 isn’t divisible by 3, x has to be multiple of 20. Out of the options only 10 satisfies.

I think

Apple offers a year end sale in December and offers discount range from 3% to 30%. It offers additional 10% on the last day of the month. If Kamrul bought an iPad on December 31 for $315 whereas his friend Oishi bought the same iPad on January, what can be the maximum possible difference between the amounts paid by Kamrul and Oishi?
(A) 54 (B) 78 (C)185 (D)247 (E) None of these
Can anyone help solve this question? I can’t seem to find the answer.
