(1) 1/a > 1/2
(2) 1/a + 1/b = 1

(1) 1/a > 1/2
(2) 1/a + 1/b = 1
hey, can anyone explain how statement 2 is sufficient?

For (2), assume b ≥ 2, then a > 2. Thus, 1/b ≤ 1/2 and 1/a < 1/2, and their sum cannot equal 1. Therefore, our initial assumption that b ≥ 2 was wrong, and hence b < 2.

Hope it's clear.

a and b are not necessarily integers. For example, consider a = 2/3, b = -2

The official tests are always the best because they offer the most accurate score estimation using official questions so these are great for checking your performance and checking if you’re ready to take the test. If you’re going to take a lot of tests, however then you need to get third-party tests. Ultimately they serve different purposes and most people end up buying official tests and third-party tests, not trying to push GMAT club by the way 😂

Hi bb, can you you please guide on how to use gmatclub tests and gmatclub quizzes effectively while preparing if it’s not too much to ask for? Help would be appreciated.

Hi bb, just curious about GMAT Club Tests. I’m currently using GMAT Club Forum Quiz, and I see that there’s a filter for GMAT Club Tests. Do the GMAT Club Tests questions on Forum Quiz overlap with ones available in GMAT Club Test subscription?
