Hello! This is my first post, so I hope I obey all GMAT club rules :)

I want to apply for a Master in Finance. My top choices would be LSE and LBS. After that HEC, IE and ESADE.
How are my chances for these universities, especially for LSE and LBS? Would it make scene to apply to Oxbridge or is my acceptance too unlikely to make the effort? Are there any other programs that I should consider applying to?

EDUCATION:
Bachelor in International Business Administration at Vienna University of Economics and Business
Grade Average: 1.5/5 (1 best - 5 worst) - 5th best student out of 1168

GMAT: 700 (Q47 V40 IR7)

INTERNSHIPS:
M&A - large austrian corporation - 2 months
Financial Advisory - Big4 company - 3 months
Consulting - Big4 company - 6 months ( I will send my application during the second month of this internship)

Looks like you are top of your class at a good European institutions. GMAT could be higher, but 700 is still pretty good and you have a nice split. Internships are all relevant as well.

LSE should be good. IE as well. I would consider HEC to be the most difficult to get into. LBS - are you looking at the MFA or the MFIN? The MFIN is really more for students with significant work experience. MFA shouldn't be hard to get in with your stats.

I must say that you have a quite good profile.
You have mentioned a very specific interest in LBS and LSE, so I will evaluate your profile based on the requirements of the same.
Talking about your Educational profile, I’d say that it is excellent. This is especially advantageous for LBS and LSE, as UK Schools tend to place a lot of emphasis on academics. Also, you have a decent GMAT score of 700 this will help you to stand out in a large pool of applicants.
When we talk about schools like LBS and LSE these schools are in a dream and competitive category and these schools receive stellar profiles from around the world.

As you have worked with the Big 4 this is definitely a highlight and will make your application stand out in a large pool of applicants. Just make sure to highlight your learnings and initiatives you undertook over there, as Adcoms are more interested in applicants who go above and beyond and create an impact.
Also Along with a good profile, you need a extracurriculars to showcase a holistic profile. This can be in the form of some very strong achievements, or a very unique skill set - Something that you do better than the others.

Overall, I’d say that you have a fair shot at getting into LBS and LSE if you put up a strong application.As these schools are highly competitive and attract stellar profiles from across the world. You can make an effort for Oxbridge as well, as you have several highlights in your profile You just need the strong differentiators to be properly showcased through your essays and LOR’s.
Apart from Masters in Finance, you can also look for MFA but having an MFin degree will help you with enormous job opportunities as you have some prior internships experience in the same this will be helpful.
