Hey, @tsaha25

Given your profile, aiming for an M7/T15 MBA is viable, though addressing certain areas is crucial. Your strong educational background, with a BFIA from SSCBS, internships at IIM and top consulting firms, and ISB YLP admission, showcases solid academic and practical experience. Your professional achievements, including two years as an analytics consultant with a fast-track promotion, further highlight your potential.

However, the gap year for government exams and low MA marks are concerning. To mitigate these, retake the GMAT and aim for a higher score. Clearly explain the gap year in your essays, focusing on constructive activities and personal growth. Emphasize your fast-track promotion and quantify your impact in your current role to demonstrate capability.

Strong letters of recommendation, a compelling narrative tying your past experiences to your post-MBA goals, and highlighting any significant extracurriculars will strengthen your application. Target a mix of M7 and T15 schools, focusing on those with strengths in your areas of interest. With these strategic enhancements, you can present a competitive application to top MBA programs.

Your profile seems sound, however, an MBA abroad typically requires 3-5 years of work experience to stand a better chance. In your case, your big 4 (brand name) and fast-tracked promotion can be a strong point in your narratives.

Our MBA experts can be better positioned to discuss your profile in length and help you make the right choices. You can schedule a complimentary call with the team or connect directly at +91 7780769732.

Hello, shivshambhu441

Your strong profile makes you a competitive candidate for Rotman and top European business schools. Academically, your 10th and 12th grades are excellent, your B.Tech score of 68% is on the lower side, and your exceptional GMAT score of 760 compensates for this.

Your substantial work experience involves significant management and HR responsibilities, and you demonstrate strong leadership, project management, and strategic planning skills.

Your extracurricular activities, including volunteer work and participation in a musical club during college, highlight your well-rounded personality. While your undergraduate GPA could be improved, your GMAT score helps offset this, and any international projects or collaborations would further enhance your application. Your chances for admission to Rotman and top European business schools are strong, given your high GMAT score, significant work experience with notable achievements, and impactful extracurricular activities. To strengthen your application, highlight your leadership, strategic impact, and unique experiences in your essays, secure strong letters of recommendation, and prepare thoroughly for interviews.
