Hi!
I'm a candidate from India applying for a Full-Time MBA program for the term starting in Fall 2015. I request you to please evaluate my profile for the Round 2 season. My details are as follows:
Age: 24
Undergrad: BITS-Pilani (Tier 1 in India) 8.3/10
GMAT: 750
Work Experience: 27 months as of now (3+ years on matriculation). I work in Technology R&D in a Top 10 company in the Fortune 500 list. Although I'm technically an engineer, I've held multiple leadership roles in the company in development streams and process management, and I'm currently leading a work stream in a team to develop and commercialize a framework for display devices based on my own idea which i pitched. The impact I've had in the organization is in terms of successfully delivering projects deployed globally and in widespread use. For international experience, I don't have any on-site, but I regularly collaborate with product teams overseas for release management and issue resolution. I have also had two promotions in two years for my contributions.
Extracurricular Activities: I have multiple leadership roles in my undergrad in various departments and clubs and also in volunteering in counseling. After that, I feel I have slightly less to say here apart from the CSR initiative of my company which I am a volunteer for (once a month) for teaching underprivileged children. I play cricket on weekends in an amateur club I started with a bunch of friends if that helps.
I have already applied to a few schools in Round 1 namely, Sloan, Kellogg, Fuqua, Tepper, and McCombs. I wish to know how I'd fare in them, but more importantly, how I stand a chance in the schools I apply henceforth:
Emory
Anderson
Ross
Darden
Kenan-Flager
Foster
My goals are to go into product management and business strategy. My long terms goals are in general management. I'd appreciate if you let me know if these are feasible for the aforementioned schools too. Please let me know if you require anything else of me.
Thanks!
