I'm a 28 year old Indian female with 4.3 years of work ex.These are my credentials:
X-87%
XII-89%
BA Honours Economics from Delhi Univ with 68%-high first division
MSc Economics from London School of Economics
I have been working in the field of economic research and analysis in India,for the past 4 years.For the last 2 years,I have been employed with a leading London-based economic analysis firm in India as an economist.I also have managerial responsibility for a team of 2 junior analysts,which includes recruitment,training and conducting formal performance reviews.
I'm interested in working in Asia,and looking at these schools_
INSEAD Asia
NUS
HKU
NTU
I'm yet to take my GMAT.Also,I'm looking at scholarships from decent schools.
I shall be grateful if you could do an initial profile evaluation.

As prospective MBA aspirant I am happy to respond . Your target B-schools are obviously great choices . Your profile seems good but it's very difficult to comment on the list of colleges you have mentioned above without knowing more about you and your career aspirations . I say this because applying to b-schools is a strenuous activity in itself. Moreover you have not appeared in GMAT therefore one is left with no other option but to scratch one's head .
So my advice to you would be to appear for GMAT once you are thoroughly prepared . You should aim at scoring atleast 650+ .In most cases (unless specifically stated otherwise by the school), the lower scores have relatively low (or zero) impact, and the higher score counts the most by far. If you don't score in your first attempt you can always give it multiple times ( less than 5 though ) . Most schools will indeed consider your highest score.
At the end , my simplest recommendation you’d get is that you should contact these colleges you have mentioned for admission process . You should send an email to all the above colleges with your profile summary including these points :-
1.Updated CV
2.Statement of Purpose SOP
3.Work experience
4.Academics/Extra Curricular
5.Post MBA plans
The other option (This might be more obvious!) would be to consider working with a credible MBA admissions consultant to develop and execute the best possible application strategy, after you have given GMAT . I reckon you will land in good college .

Effectiveness is about doing the right thing. For instance:- While you can jump on a train to get you anywhere, it is usually more helpful to get on the train that drives in the direction of your destination.
