Re: Profile Evaluation - Indian Female 760 GMAT [#permalink]
Thanks for your feedback Bhavik.

I understand my goals and criteria are at a bit at odds. I do want to get into higher consulting/management role but I do not have much money to invest. Precisely why I wanted to know if there are some schools which can help me with the financial aspects. I also understand that my profile isn't exactly unique for any great schools to give me money to join. So two of my target schools are NUS/ISB (which I will be able to afford and would not need a scholarship). What I wanted to know was if there are other options like that. I can't really pin my hopes on just a couple of colleges. If you can suggest some more options , that will be great.

Hi there,

So, ok - I'll throw out some names but I'm trying to strike a balance between affordability and goal enablement - I'm afraid you're tying me to the ropes a bit :/

If you're interested in Singapore, then look at Nanyang and SMU. If you're good with India and staying in Asia, look at the IIMs and XLRI. The IIMs might be a bit harder to get into but they're affordable. And the one in Ahmedabad is a great school!

I hope that helps! I know it's not the long list you were probably looking for but if you go too low in the rankings in Asia (or anywhere, for that fact) you're really going to hurt your career chances getting into a higher tier of management consulting.

Good luck!
