Hi,
pdchhaparwal,
First, I would like to congratulate you on backing a stellar 750 in your GMAT. I see you are quite good at numbers. That’s quite exceptional, so kudos on that! Additionally, I would suggest adding a bit more about your overall statistics and giving brief information about any additional courses, certifications, and accolades to have added advantage on your academic front!
About your work experience, we would like to know your roles and responsibilities. You’ll need to back them up with substantial examples of leadership, excellence in the field, decision-making, and analytical skills in your tenure since you are still a bit young experience-wise. Having a big company listed on your resume does help in branding; however, the adcoms are more interested in understanding the impact you created and the revenue generated from your end. Hence, I would suggest quantizing your critical projects and adding exemplary situations when you worked above and beyond your role to help the company!
Schools like Wharton, Sloan, Booth, Kellogg, and Columbia look for diversity in a candidate. Hence apart from your research papers, I would also suggest adding some relevant community & NGO work, and strategically presenting these activities should definitely do better for your portfolio. Furthermore, it would help if you elaborated on your research papers; that should help start an interesting conversation between you and AdComs. For your reference, I suggest you go through our article on
Significance of ECAs for MBA Application, to understand the importance of drafting exemplary ECAs essays! Moreover, you do need a relevant post-MBA and define both short-term and long-term goals and convince the admission committee that your future goals are appropriate, and bring about
Collinearity in your post-MBA goals.
Overall you have a decent profile. Your GMAT score and having a big four listed on your resume would serve as your greatest assets. However, some work is still required in the ECA, interlinking, and leadership departments. Hence, If you’d like, we are happy to hop on a call with you sometime this week to discuss your profile in length and further chances to your target MBA programs; feel free to
book a free session with us at your convenience.
