I am Female (30) Indian, First generation, Single parent, With GRE 299, GPA in Bachelors 82% and I am also CA in India and CPA USA with 6.5 years experience.
Target school ASU carey
My short-term goal post -MBA is to join a technology management consulting firm like Accenture strategy, Deloitte, EY or Capgemini as Management Consultant. Five years from now, I see myself leading digital strategy in finance and help guide the company’s big decisions and mentor the next generation of younger consultants.

· Managed corporate law compliance including ROC filings, drafting minutes of meetings, and supporting due diligence process.
· Advised and assisted clients in implementing internal control systems to enhance operational effectiveness.
· Conducted stock audit for one of the largest manufacturing companies, verifying inventory accuracy and reporting discrepancies.

1.Taking ownership of an SAP Project in my first year of work:
Fresh out after finishing my CA and only a few months into my role at TCS, I was unexpectedly asked to lead a project for a client using SAP’s Project System module. With no prior hands-on experience, I had to self-learn the system while managing both technical delivery and direct communication with high-stakes stakeholders. It was overwhelming-but it pushed me out of my comfort zone and proved to me that with self-drive, curiosity and communication, I could rise to challenges. This experience taught me resilience and accountability, traits I know are essential during a rigorous MBA journey.
Questions:
Will i get admitted (I cannot take GRE again)
what additional points i need to add in My essay or interview)to make it competitive.

You actually bring a lot of strengths to the table, CA + CPA, solid finance/tech consulting experience, first-gen/single parent background, and meaningful volunteering. Where schools may pause is your GRE (299) and the unclear timeline after 2023.
Definitely ask for a GRE waiver — your CA/CPA credentials already prove your academic ability.
Be upfront about the gap — frame it around volunteering, personal commitments, or any upskilling you’ve done. Schools don’t expect a perfect resume; they just want to see honesty and continuity.
If you handle the waiver + gap well, you’re very much in the running.
