Hi,

I am working on the cover letter. Can someone share the format you followed? Did you put their address at the top? Did you include your address as well?

Thanks

You can get request your application advisor for the format. They are super helpful! I added Smith's address on top but did not mention mine.

Hi,

I have an interview next week. Can someone share their interview experience? That will help a lot. I could find only one interview debrief

Hey man! Sure thing. It was quite conversational, I assume that they shared over email what topics you'll be talking about. It's an admissions rep and one from career services, and they basically want to know about what you can bring into the class, how much of a team player are you, and leadership history. You'll likely feel comfortable during the interview. Remember that a big part of Queen's FTMBA program is based in working in a team environment, so got to make sure that you will stand out and that you have what it takes to make the best out of the people that you're working with.
I think that the debrief is pretty good and represents my interview as well.

Hi! Does anyone know which day of the week the adcom meets to discuss the applications? I got done with my interview yesterday and was told they'll get back in a week. Wondering if it'll really be a week or lesser.

Hi,

I have an interview on Thursday. I was going through the debrief and found this question slightly tricky. How did you handle this one?

What if someone isn't pulling his/her weight on your team?
-> I am planning to give them a scenario when I leading a project. I did the following:
- Reassigned the tasks as per my team-members strengths
- Whenever they got stuck, I provided them pointer or guided them to reach out to the employee who can help them in that situation
- Motivated them with the impact the product can have on business and their careers

Does this make sense? Or should I consider other things here? Also, how did you tackle this one:

"what if there's only 1 week left before your team has to submit the paper/project and the person is still not pulling their weight and s/he will only do 70-80% of what s/he is supposed to"

Any thoughts?

Hi everyone!

I got accepted into the School and will be joining the class of 2022. Is there a chat group/forum for incoming students?

Hi,

Did all the accepted candidates get a direct email from the admission committee with the result? I got an email saying that they want to schedule a meeting with me tomorrow to share the result. Does that mean it is a no?

Thanks,

If they like to schedule a meeting, most likely it will be a yes I think. Let us know after the meeting. Good Luck :)
