Hi Sarthak,

Based on what you have shared, I believe that you have a competitive profile. The scholarship depends on your holistic profile. Below are some of the parameters:

1. Academics (GRE/GMAT, CGPA in University)
2. Work experience
3. Diversity (academic, professional, cultural)
4. Clarity of career goals (cover letter)
5. Performance in interview and video essays
6. International experience
7. Extra curricular achievements

I am sure there are other factors too. But the ones I highlighted above are what I heard from admissions committee.

All the best!

Thanks a lot! Do you have any idea whats the average amount of scholarship disbursed? The website says 10k to full ride, just wanted the opinion of someone who is matriculating currently

Sorry, I am not sure of the average scholarship amount. I suggest that you schedule a meeting with adcom for this information.

Can someone help me with interview questions? I have checked the interview debrief, but would like to know if there are any more questions.

Folks, do you plan to attend the school next year? If so, is there a group for admitted students? I am willing to set one up if there isn't one currently.

GmatLover98765 -
I would suggest converting the GRE score to GMAT using "GRE® Comparison Tool for Business Schools" (Google it). Then compare with school average range of 650-680. If you have great extracurriculars then lower score would be fine else it might be better to re-try.

Hi everyone,

After a lot of deliberation, I have decided to join Rotman MBA program (2022 Fall intake).

It was a difficult decision for me especially because of the sizeable scholarship offered by Smith adcom and the amazing career services team. As per my research, Smith MBA is one of the top programs in Canada.

Many congratulations to all the admitted students and all the best to the future applicants :)

Hi princearora11 , can you share us on why you decided to go to Rotman over Smith. I believe you have done extensive research to come to conclusion, so curious on what points made you to choose Rotman over Smith.

Congratulations btw. Wishing you all good days ahead
