Question concerning the NYU Stern/HEC Paris joint-degree MBA

Question

Hi I just have a quick question concerning the application process of the joint degree program with HEC Paris. On NYU Stern's website, it indicates that only first year full-time MBA candidates are allowed to apply for the joint degree program. On the HEC website, I could not find any information on the application process.

Therefore I was wondering if this program was only open to students who had already matriculated into one school or if it was possible to apply to both schools and the joint degree program before matriculating?

I know about the application process, but I am interested in knowing about how difficult is it to get in to NYU from HEC?

The financial part of this matter stops me to apply...too expensive... still not sure...what about you?

That is indeed the only hurdle.

For now, I am pretty sure about applying to this subject to availability of finances obviously.

Hey Angel,
I know many people who have done HEC/Stern dual degree. 
There is one more option that we could push for when at HEC - that is a dual degree with Yale (I guess you were pretty interested in Yale, judging from your comment on the HEC focused forum).
I have already had a brief discussion with the person who is in-charge of dual-degrees at HEC and he says that we can discuss about this option when at HEC.
Have also discussed with Yale guys, and they do not have a problem - they say that they are open to this, it is HEC that has to make the call.

The Stern site states the applicant would participate in one full year at stern. At stern, 1yr's tuition is USD$$63,720...so this would be the cost?
