I recently read a post by SBC about a student with GRE getting into HBS. I have a question on similar lines:
I had given GRE (Verbal: 160, 84 Percentile, Quant: 166, 96% Percentile) in January this year and now preparing for GMAT. I intend to apply to Harvard / Stanford / Wharton in this application cycle. I just gave my first CAT and my score estimate is around 650-670. I am confident that I can push it to 720 with a month's preparation but given that first time deadlines are so close, should I invest time and energy in it? given that these schools have started accepting GRE now as well.
Now I am facing this decision: (1) Submit my app in first round with GRE OR (2) Give GMAT and apply in second round
Also, in the absence of data for GRE averages for schools, is my score good enough?
