I want to know how are recent GMAT quant section questions difficulty level are? I mean most asked topics and is GMAT really adaptive ? I will give a test in Nov. , So, it might be really helpful for me .

Good you asked, In November the test is completely different from tests in October. The GMAC decided to add organic chemistry as a part of the test. Since the oil and gas industry jobs dominate many mba programs, GMAC decided to add this component on an experimental basis. Make sure you know the formula for ethil, ethanol, and alcohol - these will be the key to hitting Q52.

Increase in the # of applicants from the Oil and Gas Industry...
I guess with the O&G industry going down like anything everyone sees the writing on the wall and trying to switch to other industry through an MBA.
In fact, Maria from applicantlab has coined a name for all of us - "Oil & Gas Industry Refugees" :( :(

I think some number crunching can give an even better picture of what I am talking....
