I am at the start of my MBA Application journey and wanted to ask where I stand in the crowd of applicants. I also wanted your thoughts about my profile and what schools would be the best fits for me.
Age - 26
GMAT - 730
Nationality - Canadian (Filipino-Chinese Ethnicity living in the Philippines)
Education - Physics and Mathematics (Graduated with Distinction); Minor in Commerce; GPA: 4.0/4.3
Work Experience - 2 years working as a General Manager for my family real estate / infrastructure business (3 years upon matriculation)
I have actually worked in the business since high school with roles from Accounting to Technicals. I now manage multiple departments, but lean more towards the Engineering and Design department.
Extra-Currics:
Sit as a National Governor in a Housing Organization in the PhilippinesParticipates regularly with conversations with government departments to help build policies that ease business practices and makes the procedure of owning a home easier for Filipinos
Organize and Implement Continuing Professional Development Seminars for Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons (accredited by the government)
Helps with the administration side of an NGO that is building a community in a province in the PhilippinesHelps them keep their books in order and organize curriculums for kindergarten students
Reason for MBA: I want to take an MBA to build managerial skills (for my family business) and financial knowledge (to innovate and give more insight in the government forums that I participate in)
Role after mba - I will be going back to my family business and NGO Governor Seat

Reach - HBS
Target - NYU, CBS, Kellog
Safety - Rotman
Questions-
1. Is my profile good enough to be considered for the top10/ top20 schools. I'm quite worried because of the stigma surrounding family businesses
2. Can you suggest Dream, Target and Achievable schools in my current score range. Are my calibrations fair? Should I aim higher or lower?
3. What chance do i have of getting a scholarship?
