Hello,
You appear to be well qualified for your schools of interest, including the very competitive ones. That said, programs such as Stanford, are obviously reaches – as they are for everyone including the highly qualified.
In terms of shaping your application most successfully, focus on creating a coherent story/message that (a) is relevant to your goals and (b) showcases your strengths, personality, character, etc. Especially for the more competitive programs, it’s imperative that you demonstrate real individuality and engagement (i.e. that you have something to say, something to add, a POV), beyond just being qualified. For example, at Stanford, especially given its small student body, each student really carries a lot of weight in terms of class dynamics and contributions. So envision how you’d contribute there. While you’ll adapt your positioning a bit to meet each program’s unique character, the core points and factors that you identify and develop for schools like GSB will remain relevant to other programs as well.
Also, 2 points regarding
goals: (1) If you emphasize social entrepreneurship, be sure to make it credible through prior experience and engagement with issues, not just something you believe you will like to do; (2) emphasizing “innovation” is very broad – do narrow it down a bit or give it a specific slant or vision.
