Answer to your question:

Quote:
if someone who has previously done a question wrong but comes back later to solve and get it correct will his correct answering be depicted in question stats furthermore i did a timer attempt but after that i refreshed the page to find out that no of sessions did not increase by 1 after my attempt at timer.

1. Second Attempt counts - all attempts count except the ones that are shorter than 10 or so seconds
2. You must have not taken the timer long enough. I just tested and it did increase by 1 in my test :)

it means if question stats show 45% wrong and 50% correct then i can assume that only 5% did it correctly on the first attempt :)
because the people who did it wrong will surely come back to solve it again but this time correctly thus all 45% who did wrong would add up to correct 5% thus making it 50 % in turn it and thus can be concluded that questions which such states must not be taken on ego if done incorrectly. :) but should be taken as learning point to move forward.

i am correct on my assumption.

And those 5% who might have done such questions correctly would be experts i guess :)

I don't think there is a master reset button. You can delete individual records or I guess if you have too many, you can just close one account and open another one?

bb It would be much help to users if you introduce a new master reset button to reset whole error log.

I know :(
Sorry that we don't have it. We have been thinking of making bigger upgrades to the error log but have not done it yet. We do have a new feature coming in about a month. Not sure if we can include this into it... maybe a bit after that :-o

Hi. Sorry, there is no single reset button. You can delete individual records or you can create a new account. Sorry about that

Right now I have marked a lot of questions as bookmarked and I don't want to loose my account to reset my error log. Would be great to add this feature

Thank you. We will be working on this product in the next few months as a part of the GMAT Club p.m. internships. This has been a widely requested feature but unfortunately, for now, if you want to reset your error log, you have to create a brand new account or delete them manually. 😢

Hi. It is coming soon... not a single self-destruct button (not everyone is so radical with their prep  ) but I am hoping this week we will have an update that will allow you to select 25-50 records at a time and delete them with one click. So if you had 1000 records it will be 20-40 clicks as opposed to 1000.

Another option is to start a new account but the disadvantage of that is getting repeat questions that you have already attempted. Unless you for some reason want to start with a clean slate, and in that case, I would recommend starting a new blank account and I will be happy to transfer your access to that account.

Hi GMATkid1997 - you can now delete up to 50 questions at a time in the Error Log, so you should be able to delete and wipe out things you don't want to have pretty quickly.

Thank you.

Hi bb,
As I went through the previous messages, I understand that there isn’t an option to completely reset the error log. However, I would like to have a fresh error log to track my progress more efficiently and get better analytics for my test performance.
Could you please confirm if it would be possible to transfer my purchased test series plan to a new account that I create, so that I can start with a fresh error log?
Thank you for your help.
bb
