I recently took the GMAT and got a 750 (51Q, 39V, IR8). Unfortunately, I made a few boneheaded decisions on test day, including:
1. Taking it after a full day of work (got tired during verbal, ended up reading and re-reading things over and over)
2. Downing an entire energy drink right before the test (had to go to the bathroom multiple times, was uncomfortable during the exam)
3. Ate candy bars during the breaks (in retrospect, probably not a good idea)
I'm thinking that I could probably score in the 770-780 range (what I got during practice tests) if I screwed my head on properly and approached the test more cautiously. Do you think it would be worth it to shell out $250 for the potential increase in scholarship money I could conceivably receive?

PS - I'm probably only going to apply to one elite part time program, but I hear that even for such a program scholarship money can be heavily influenced by GMAT score.
Don't retake. You have passed the threshold and now a higher GMAT will do little to nothing to help your chances.

Scholarships, like admission is considered holistically, so your energy and time would be better spent in making great application materials.
