I wanted some thoughts from anyone who cares to provide their two cents on this:

I was accepted to Ross without a scholarship and Tepper with $30,000 per year which is significant. Overall, I like Ross as a school better. I would like to do consulting and I think Ross has a bit of a stronger placement but I do not think recruiting and overall job prospects would be that much different. Anyone have any thoughts on differences of the schools or whether Ross may provide a merit scholarship if I explained my situation to an adcom member?

Go to Ross

Thanks Dan82186!
I'm kind of in the EXACT same situation as CScratch! For me, being an international student, that amount does mean a lot. But it is just so difficult to let Ross go. Hoping for some magic here!

Ross has a much stronger Consulting program than Tepper. I am a potential career switcher to Consulting and one of the reasons why I applied to Ross instead of Tepper. If you wanted to get into Operations, Tepper would have been a no brainer. The 30K is enticing, but remember post job placement...that should most easily pay itself off..
just my 2 cents

Hi, I have a missed call starting with +734 at 8:02 am EST, but no email yet. Should I call the admission office back or wait for their email until the office hours ?

Congrats to everyone that got a call yesterday or is getting one today. I dug up this post from earlier in this thread and wanted to bring it back to see if anyone has any information about class size for 2016?

I guess the other question to go with this would be to see if reducing the class size for the class of 2015 has made the class stronger and helped more people place where they want to. Any thoughts would be helpful.

I haven't heard anything about them changing the class size for 2016 so I expect it to be similar to 2015. As for making it easier to place due to the smaller class; that's a reasonable assumption but we won't know anything until we, the class of 2015, finish recruiting for internships at least. Honestly we won't really know much until we recruit full-time because it's likely Ross will see 100% internship placement again, which frankly doesn't mean much to me. It is worth noting however that 2013 enjoyed better placement numbers than the 2012 class though there is much room for improvement.

Btw, congrats to all the admits! Hope to see you guys in Ann Arbor next year!

Is getting waitlisted the best case scenario in case one's not heard from Ross yet?

Congrats to all of us who were admitted. I will be declining acceptance so hopefully that helps one of you in the WL. I received a full ride at Rice University & will be attending there.

Happy holidays!
