Did anyone get a personal email from the adcoms after interviewing...other than the "Thank You For Interviewing" one?

I got an email from my interviewer three business days after my interview, but it was a "thank you" for my "thank you".

Where did you interview and with whom?

On campus. I don't remember her name off hand; but I'm doubtful it matters. ~20 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I heard nothing back after my interview until I was accepted.

I'm on the East Coast. Is there any rhyme or reason to the order they call admits? Like, do a 9am sweep from EDT to PDT to Asia?

If only it were that simple. I'm certain you've got more w/e years than me and likely more responsibilities, and thus better stories, etc. :( .

I really don't think so. I live in Boston and got the call at 2:30PM, but my coworker didn't get the call until around 5PM. Although, for all I know, they could have been calling in order of last name (mine starts with L and hers starts with R).

I keep telling myself that I win either way:

I get in, I have an opportunity to change my career path immediately and effectively.

I don't get in, I win several hundreds of thousands of dollars in opportunity cost.

OMG. My last name starts with K

Thanks. At least now I don't have to worry if I don't get a call at 0905.

Ha, no sweat. I was called by Jeff Carbone (Associate Director). I was actually very surprised to get the call at 2PM since results were historically released at 5PM and not a moment before (based on previous years' threads).

Thanks! I didn't realize that they typically do not release results until EOB EDT. Sigh. Alright. Many many more hours left.

Best of luck to each and every one waiting for R2 results! It is now officially nervously-continue-staring-at-phone time....

In my case (Asia) I got the call around 6am local time (GMT+8).

Good luck to everybody. My main advice is: stay away from gmatclub and try to forget about when the deadline should be. All this stress is unhelpful...

but it's still good to know the time so I can at least focus on work for a couple of hours....6 am is not a pleasant time -.- which means I cannot sleep well all night, just waiting for a possible call.....
