Do they have to finish round 2 before they get to the waitlist?

Someone correct me if I am wrong but there do not appear to have been any calls made to Europe based applicants.

I am still keeping the hope alive ...it is early in the day and I had prepared to be up for half the night anyway.

Let's assume the adcom is having a lunch break before they come back and make the rest of the calls!!

There was a Russian candidate a few pages back who got a call.

I got called in Madrid

Just got the call and fellowship information as well :)

Double congrats! I guess that means the rest of us didn't get fellowships though.

Thanks :-D !I'm not sure. Its possible some fellowships are awarded post decision, and not at the time of notification. With an applicant profile that gained you admissions to HBS , i'd be surprised if they didn't offer you some incentive.

Does your status update say anything about the fellowship? I got told in my call I had gotten a fellowship, but the e-mail and my personalized admit website don’t say anything

Did anyone who have been interviewed with another interviewee rather than the one you know through the email?

I also got a call today. I am on the east coast!

I am an international student, and will require a loan that covers a significant portion of the program.

Does anyone here know whether Sloan provides no-cosigner loans to international students? and how much?

Doea anyone know?

First of all, Congratulations to all admits!!!

I didn't get a call but my status online shows that I'm admitted. How did you guys received fellowship information?
I've got offer from Wharton w/o $, Booth w $60K, and Sloan w/o $ (let say ...). Financing MBA is my great pain. Any thoughts for the school selection...

Profile: female, Asia, Singapore, Vietnam, engineering, hi-tech industry
Post MBA: internal strategic planning (or consultant -- not really like) in hi-tech for short-term, entrepreneurship & trading for long-term

For R1 admits, we could have a real rest now. Yay!!!
For R2 applicants, good luck and all the best !!!
Whatever group you are in, pls allow yourself to enjoy this festive season.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all :beer :beer :beer :woohoo

Wow, congrats to everywhere you got in! Huge accomplishment! Where do you want to have a job after school?
In my opinion, it's hard to pass up $60k from Booth. I think all of those schools will get to your career goals.

Hi Dan8294, thanks so much. And also congratulate for your Darden and Tepper admits ;) It's great!
I consider myself international resident, I have been away from home since young. Location does not matter, so I will stay where the opportunities are. :D

Cheers,

Na...
At this point being waitlisted comes pretty close to a reject as well ;)
Or at least you already know that your chances are way down, that you will not be able to get an on-campus accommodation (and getting an apartment within 1-2 month close to MIT won't be easy), and financing is not getting any easier with a lead time of a few month, plus visa issues...
So I guess it's time to move on.

Anyways, now it's Christmas time. Idle time, delicious food, cold beer, and good friends / family.
