Hi all,

I accepted SMU offer and deposited 7K which is the initial amount, and now have been accepted by my top preference college.
The amount was pretty big, do you think any chance they will consider to refund partially atleast. IF so, how do you think I should go for it.

Just to set the expectations, I have not heard of a school returning the deposit paid. People do lose deposits and it happens a lot more often than we think but I guess no harm in reaching out to the admissions committee and asking them nicely :)

I recently accepted the offer at SMU (Aug 21 intake). I think it would be good to create a group over Whatsapp or any other preferred platform by everyone and connect with each other.
