hi, i have exp of 7 years with a largest manufacturing company, but due to major accident i wasnt in the job and have 5 years gap year with gmat score of 695, and in all my 10th 12th and UG GPA is 7.0%, can i apply for PGDM and PGPM programs?

SPJIMR does not publicly disclose its median GMAT Focus score, but based on recent trends, a score of 615 should generally be sufficient to secure an interview call. That said, it's difficult to accurately assess your chances without reviewing your complete profile, as the admissions process considers several factors beyond the GMAT score.

Hi everyone! Looking for a quick profile evaluation for the 2027 MBA intake.

Profile

- 28M, Indian
- GMAT Focus Mock score so far: 695 (Q88, V84, DI81)
- B.Com (2018, Private university), CGPA: 6.55/10.
- Strong school academics: 10 CGPA (Class 10), 95.4% (Class 12); cleared CA IPCC Group I and CS Executive.

Work Experience (~9 years by matriculation)

- Faculty across leading test-prep companies (CAT/GMAT/Law), teaching 5,000+ students and mentoring 2,000+.
- Started my own education venture in 2023.
- Since formal registration (2024): ₹1.1 Cr+ documented revenue and ₹50L cumulative net profit with a lean team (max 4 people).
- Experience spans teaching, sales, business development, operations, and partnerships.

Post-MBA Goals
Short term: Management Consulting / Strategy / Growth (preferably Education, EdTech, or Consumer).
Long term: Build a scalable and affordable education company.

Target Schools
Globally recognized Top-40 MBA programs with strong consulting placements. Scholarships are a major consideration.

Would really appreciate feedback on:

I have reviewed your profile in other forum but let me leave with just 2 points here

1) I would advise against applying to SP Jain as you can definitely convert one of the IIMs executive program. I make this suggestion to everyone who has potential to convert ISB and IIM and thankfully each one of them is either studying or graduate of those schools.

2) Chances of scholarship are not good
