Did you get an email stating 20th Nov?

I was hoping they would give a final answer today

Even i tried to reach them via calls in the second half but going unresponsive. Atleast they should simply put a rejected status in the dashboard, let alone the rejection mails

Bro, a piece of advise - Don't waste your precious time like everyone else on this thread waiting for this third class private college which doesn't maintain any transparency (gives profile based calls but selection is based on scores). Even their placement figures are fudged and you will always notice that these so called top private colleges market themselves heavily - We are top management institute, We are this, We are that.....blah blah 🤮🤮🤮🤮 but IIMs never do that or this type of cheap tricks.

Few days back, I had interaction with IIM S Chairperson for 1 hour and he was quite Frank and transparent regarding rankings, placement (lowest and highest package). Placement process in other IIMs etc. I cross checked his info on internet and found it to be true. Also IIM S people clearly told us that since they are autonomous they have choice to select/not select candidates (not like private college which fill seats by taking money). MDI placement reports were leaked online (Excel data sheet), and the real face of these Private colleges was unmasked.

You can try for IIM K IIM I or can reappear for GMAT but MBA is a once in a life time opportunity and one time degree, don't waste this on some 'lala ki dukaan (Jain)' type college.....IIM tag is for lifetime and placements are more or less equal. Also IIM S Chairperson told us that in every IIM placement is a student driven activity and I found out that this true when I read between the lines (audited placement report of IIMs) but still they beat these so called self boasting/loathing private Mumbai MBA colleges by a huge margin in rankings . Take a wise decision and don't fall in trap of these big time failure people who are trying to make SP Jain a big brand.

SPJIMR – PGPM’s current partner schools for IntEx are:

ESIC Business & Marketing School, Barcelona, Spain
ESB Business School, Reutlingen, Germany

Someone was claiming that international immersion happens at INSEAD 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I think the newly admits and some unemployed people are getting money for becoming brand ambassadors for this third class private MBA college💩💩

Bro! Please stop this ; this spread of negativity
This group n the entire channel is created for healthy discussion. Those who haven’t got an admit like me already know our truth and now focussing on other colleges or retaking exam or changing strategy.
Would suggest you doing that.
N i believe you have the power to pick n choose only if you have admit. At the end of the day its the applicant’s call where he /she wants to invest money, time, effort.
Not everyone is blessed with time or opportunities, so if they get admit from spjain n thinks of joining then thats their call!

A review of IIMS I got from an IIMS graduate wasn’t rosy. In fact he was advicing I apply to SPJIMR instead. So it is all subjective. So, even when with others’ interest in mind, its better to be objective and specific when critiquing a program than just resorting to making generic statements. On a lighter note, if an MBA program is able to market itself well, there might as well be something to learn there.

He doesn’t even know the difference between International Exchange and International Immersion. Guess thats the reason he didn’t make it. SPJ requires at lease double digit IQ.

Ofcourse PGPM is a good program with a very strong placements and alumni network.
I believe that there would be some guys who applied and got an admit and have kept this one as a backup option. I planned for the same although I got admit from IIM K but not from here.

I think some more offer letters may be released after Diwali when these guys won't pay the acceptance fees.

Let's hope for the best till then!

Thanks for the advice. I would just like to share my thoughts on this since I can see you have been pretty active with a very strong stance. I have done quite a lot of research on what to do and where to do it from and since I am only targetting Indian schools 1 year programmes it’s pretty easy to understand since the number is less. Overall the quality of education is the same everywhere . What matters is the brand. I have been on the other side of campus placements and that does matter. However the other thing that matters a lot initially is how you showcase yourself as the best candidate for that role. After you have got that initial high paying role then it’s more or less like anyone. The brand value will always be there and the alumni network will really help. I have seen people graduate from ISB and screw up their own career by taking the wrong roles and i have seen people from tier 3 colleges heading a team of IIM alumni. Every college has their own way of functioning and it’s incorrect one is really bad because of certain things. Don’t like it? Don’t apply leave the group. There are a lot of people who are really interested in getting here and you are kinda making the wait more difficult.

Also this set of colleges os from last year. The website for any college is never really updated. Check ISB. They have the timeline for last year but nothing for this year. I am on that group as well and it’s chaos wahan also. I have been to their webinars and can confirm that the programme chairperson said that this year all specialisations will have INSEAD as their intim partner. If they change it later that’s their business but it has been told in multiple such conversations.

IIMs will always have a better brand value but if you don’t make it to the top4-5 IIMS , I think SPJ is a good option to consider.

sss123Golu i see that you're still sticking around here. I get it that you wanted the offer badly, but let go man. You're trying way too hard to convince others to not take up the offer so that you can get in but the problem is that you aren't even convincing bro. So I don't see this working out for you. What i do see working out for you is preparing well and sitting for MBA admissions next year. As for your misconception regarding your stellar profile which makes you think that you didn't get in only because of your GMAT, let me clear that as well for you. I got an offer with a 600 on the GMAT. So clearly, it was a profile based offer for me at least.

You definitely need a lot of introspection man. Let alone GMAT or MBA. With this attitude, things don't look too good in general, I'm afraid.
