All your profiles look so great! I will also apply to SSE for the next intake : MSc Finance (1st choice) and MSc Economics (2nd choice). Here is my profile:
- 21 years old
- graduated last June from a Parisian university: 14.52/20 GPA (in the French grading system), which is good (I suppose) according to the conversion table provided on GMAC’s website (if a GPA>14/20 then that makes 4 in the American system??)
- Bachelor in economics and management (dual option) plus advanced BSc in economic law at the same time (GPA: 14.5/20). I wrote a bachelor thesis entitled The Employment Protection Legislation and its economic consequences: French and Swedish cases as part of it.
- A recommandation from my thesis director
- TOEFL 110
- French: native; Spanish: fluent; Italian: intermediate
- GMAT 650 BUT, will retake soon
- Two exchange semesters abroad (Stockholm University)
- Member of the governing committee (as head of communication) of the Junior Enterprise in my university for a year; now alumni
- 2 months internship in a big-three insurance company
- extracurricular: mainly gliding. For those who don't know what it is, it's an air sport in which pilots fly an unpowered aircraft.
I really hope I’ll hit my target score on my next GMAT! I hope I’ll see you next summer in Stockholm!

Internships:
1) 1 month in the Corporate Finance Department of a Big4
2) 6 weeks in an investment management firm
3) 2 months in the accounts department of a mid-sized firm
Other activities:
1) Student teacher at the university
2) 2 years of volunteer work
3) 2 years in the university Editorial
Any chance of getting accepted?
