I wonder how much more longer it would take for them to roll out invites! The final decision date is 12th December, that's one month from now. Assuming 1 week for scheduling the interview, one week for the alumnus filing his/her report and 2 weeks to evaluate the candidate, their time is pretty much up.
My best guess is next week is when we'll get to know!
I think they can slow roll it since not everyone is actually going to interview - i.e. they admit some without an interview. I have heard that the interview is more of a formality and holds far less weight than at other schools. Can anyone confirm this?
We do not have resources to interview every applicant to the Stanford MBA Program, but we will interview every candidate who is offered admission to the class. We expect to interview roughly 900 applicants this year.

One whole week and no invite - it almost makes me think people are getting interview invites but are being awfully quiet about it. If any of you do have an invite, please post, we want to share the joy.

Axe88 I guess its finally time for India as well! Got an invite today morning! Profile: Indian, Male, BE, 750 - food, healthcare and education industries.
Congrats to everyone who received an invite. 2 technical question to you guys:
Did you receive the invitation message to both of your e-mail addresses (if you submitted a secondary one)? Also, did you get a message in the online application message center about it?
I only submitted one e-mail address, so I can't answer your first question. However my online application still says "submitted" even though I received my interview invite nearly a month ago...
