I owe a lot to GMAT club.....
Started from 310 in the year july,2011, finally scaled 630 on 29th May 2013.....
I ll shortly put up the story of my fight.

Hi sammy
I am really sorry, got busy with my applications.
To improve on quant.
1. First gauge what is your score. If you find that you are struggling with basics. Go for Gmat foundations book of MGMAT.
2. Than go through all the guide books. For time, rate and work. i suggest go through veritas's guide book.
3. For geometry, MGMAT is the best.
4. For stats and probability, Veritas's book is unparalleled.
Once you start hitting Q 44 continously, that is the time to pick MGMAT advanced and gmat club test.
Once you are done with both, purchase the gmat prep Pack 1. Towards last 2-3 weeks only practice the official question from the books.
if you are done with OG and quant review. Just practices last 50 questions of both books again and again.

If you need to practice, some basic questions on certain topics. Try Jeff sackmann's TGM. But If you are already scoring in higher range; this book will be of no use.

I have received an official mail from GMAT, they are still reviewing the exam, whether there was nay time loss or not.
So Once i receive any development on the matter , i ll post on the forum.
But yes, in future, if any of you do face such problem, just ask for incidence number from administrator and continue with your exam.

Finally, got some info about the technical problem on GMAT. They say that from the time of shutdown of computer to restart there was no time loss. They wont consider any time loss from raising of hand to administrator switching off the computer....This is ridiculous.

However I have not received the official note on my email. I will wait for it.

Its so motivating to read this....I too started gmat prep in around may 2011, got 300 Q27 V11(something like that) on my first practice mock then started preparation again from may 2013, now i have improved a bit and need lot more presently on 530 Q43 and V19, hopefully will be able to get 600. only have 3 weeks left...Any advice?
