Did anyone from India get an admit at all? All I see are waitlisted candidates.

I'm from India and I got accepted with a Fellowship. Congratulations to all admits (Indian or not) and all the best to those waitlisted! Don't give up yet :)

For Round 2ers, wish you luck with your application. To talk about my experience, I interviewed on Skype with an AdCom member who was fantastic to talk to. It was very very conversational and I got the feeling that they really want to get to know you for who you are. So be candid, yet professional. I know it cliched but 'be yourself', really. Know who you are, why you want to go for an MBA and why you want to go to Tepper. I guess I can suggest so because now I know that it worked for me.

Once again, all the best moving forward and I hope to see you soon at Tepper. :)

Could you share your profile ?

Congrats to all admitted and good luck for the waitlist. Have been religiously following this page since the last week and finally got a chance to share my story. Interviewed at Duke and got dinged. Was rejected without an interview at Johnson, so happy to receive my first admit at Tepper. Am an applicant from India as well. Got accepted with forte fellowship.

I got wait-listed without even getting an interview call!

Seems like Tepper just waitlists everyone they don't like because they don't feel comfortable rejecting people. So many waitlists and no dings.

What putting a lot of applicants on waitlist means TO ME is that they are not sure about their yield rate. Given their last year's yield at <50%, you still stand good chances. With your passion for Tepper, you deserve it!

Thanks man. If all it took was passion, Harvard would admit like 100,000 people a year. ;)

I do want to keep in touch with them and reiterate that they're my top choice. I'm currently looking at ways to strengthen my candidacy.

@MBAapplicant2016 :waa what abt us poor male indians :( anyways congrats.

guys.... not that i got in so am sharing this. But i learnt something through 2 dings and 2 admits, its the importance of interview. Despite a holistic evaluation of a candidature... i realized that an Interview can MAKE or BREAK.

That's the thing, I really thought I rocked the interview. I said everything I wanted to say and was very personable, I thought. Either I didn't do as well as I thought, or the rest of my application wasn't quite where it should be and the interview didn't override it.
