I was waitlisted R2 but didn't get the mail. Maybe I'll get it soon, but either way I don't think it has any significance. We will know the answer in a few days, best of luck to everyone!

I did not get an email like this, but was wait listed in Round 2. Why do you feel this is good news for those who didn't get this? I'm honestly a bit nervous that I may have been rejected based on not getting this email, but you seem to think the opposite so I'm just a bit curious. I am more anxious about this waitlist than I was for any undergrad app, but probably because this is my last school to hear from and last shot at admission so I'm praying for good news.

I am more anxious about this waitlist than I was for any undergrad app, but probably because this is my last school to hear from and last shot at admission so I'm praying for good news.

It could mean that the people who received the mail are no longer on the waitlist and were admitted and the people who received it have been put on the waitlist yet again...

I see what you mean. I don't want to get my hopes up about it but I'll try to take it as a more positive sign than negative one. Good luck to everyone waiting on the WL or R3 app results.
