Let the radius of inner circle is r.
area of the full circle is r+3
Area formula
π(r+3)^2 =225π
r = 12
Area formula for inner circle
π(12)^2
=144π

Area of bigger circle = 225π. Therefore, radius of bigger circle = 15 feet and hence
Radius of smaller circle (the blue one) = 12 feet since the width of the border is 3 feet.
Therefore,
Area of the pool = π * \((12)^2\) = 144 π.
The correct answer option is D.
