The Declaration contained several new resolutions. It proclaimed that all men and women are born equal and stated that no man could withhold a woman's rights, take her property, or preclude her from the right to vote. This Declaration also became the foundation for the Seneca Falls Convention.

On July 19-20, 1848, the Seneca Falls Convention brought together 240 delegates between ages 22 and 60, including forty men, who spent the two days at the conference debating, refining and voting on the Declaration of Sentiments. Most of the declaration’s resolutions received unanimous support and were officially endorsed. Later in 1848, the Seneca Falls convention was followed by an even larger meeting in Rochester, New York. Thereafter, national women's conventions were held annually, contributing to the growing momentum in the movement for women's rights.   1

Declaration of sentiments is discussed in paragraph 3 not 2. Paragraph 2 starts from "The idea for the convention emerged ". So, A is wrong.

Para 2 actually tells us how the whole idea emerged. Hence D

E is incorrect because we are given 
"On July 19-20, 1848, the Seneca Falls Convention brought together 240 delegates between ages 22 and 60,  including forty men, who spent the two days at the conference debating, refining and voting on the Declaration of Sentiments. "

Notice the bolded portion above. We had 240 delegates but out of those we don't know how many men and women were there.

40 Men given are those who spent two days,.... , we are not sure if these were the only men or do we have other men delegates as well.

Thanks, but I asked about E - which talks about the Anti slavery ... not the Seneca Falls convention. The bolded portion shows why C is correct.

ohh sorry, I missed that.

We are given that "a conference that precluded its female delegates" but it is also given that " She had accompanied her husband to London but had to sit behind a partition  with other women activists ,". So, although women were precluded from the delegate they were still present there. Now we actually don't know whether the number of female delegates present at the convention was greater than that of men. So, we cannot infer E.

In Q4 if I considered below statement from paragraph 2.

"The idea for the convention emerged during the 1840 World Anti-Slavery Convention in London, a conference that precluded its female delegates from participation in discussions".

It is clearly evident that female were not participated in the conference which make option " E " correct.

Please confirm what I missed ?

Option (D) states: "Most delegates at the 1840 World Anti-Slavery Convention were men." This can be interpreted to mean that  some of the delegates  were women. This is incorrect as "precluded" means "to prevent" ie; women were prevented from participation. Therefore, there cannot have been any women participants at the 1840 World Anti-Slavery Convention in London. The passage also states that Lucretia Mott "..had to sit behind a partition with other women activists".

It is not true that  most  delegates were men -  all  delegates were men. Hence this is not a valid inference from the passage.

I think the answer should be "E" as it can be inferred from the passage that the most delegated at 1840 world Anti Slavery Convention were men. Also, the answer can't be "C" as it is clearly mentioned in the last paragraph that there were 240 delegates who attended the convention with the age group of 22-60 years. How the answer can be below 20 years?

I presume you refer to Q4. Kindly refer to our post on this topic just above. The answer option (E) states that:  Most  delegates at the 1840 World Anti-Slavery Convention were men.

This necessarily implies that  some  of the delegates were women, which is not true since the women were prevented from participating in the conference. Therefore,  all  the delegates were men at this conference. Hence option (E) is incorrect.

Option (C) is correct since it states that none of the women, who number greater than 190, at the Seneca Falls convention were younger than 20 years old. As you have rightly identified, the last paragraph clearly states that this convention had 240 women delegates (hence, greater than 190), between the ages of 22 and 60 (and hence, none younger than 20).
