How is nuclear energy produced correlated with years when "2003" is off? And how can we consider one year as an exception and select "YES" as answer?

How to calculate the first part " “Other” sources of energy have never accounted for less than 8% of total domestic energy production."without having to spend much time on it?

For the first part, its 5.3 in 2001, making the overall %age=7%. shouldn't it be Yes? doesn't the exception count here?

For each of the following statements, select Yes if the statement can be shown to be true using the information provided. Otherwise, select No.

“Other” sources of energy have never accounted for less than 8% of total domestic energy production.NO. The maximum total production is 73 btu and the minimum total production is 69.6. So, to account for minimum 8% of total production, "Other" resources must have a production output between/above 5.57 and 5.84 btu. In all the years the production of Other resources is above 5.84 except for 2001. So, the productivity in this year is less than 8%

For the years shown, the amount of nuclear power produced domestically is positively correlated with the year.YES. We can see that there is an increase/same level in output of energy production of Nuclear resources, except in the year 2003 in which it reduced by .1. It can be ignored as it is only one off case

Crude oil production decreased by more than 15% from 1998 to 2007.YES.
Crude Oil production in 1998 = 13.2
Crude Oil production in 2007 = 10.7
Decrease = \(\frac{13.2 - 10.7}{13.2}\) = .1893 = 18.93%
