A) 45%
B) 40%
C)35%
D) 30%

Total number of Students \(= 50\)

Number of Students who got less than \(30\) marks \(= 20\)

Number of Students who got more than \(70\) marks \(= 5\)

Therefore Total number of Students who got less than \(30\) and more than \(70\) marks \(= 20 + 5 = 25\)

Given, the remaining Students scored between \(30\) and \(70\) marks. ie; \(= 50 - 25 = 25\)

Passing score is \(55\) marks and \(40\)% students have passed the test \(= 40\)% of \(50 => \frac{40}{100} * 50 = 20\)

Therefore \(20\) Students passed with \(55\) marks and above.

We need to find the percentage of students who scored between \(55\) and \(70\).

\(5\) Students have scores more than \(70\) marks.

Therefore Students who scored between \(55\) and \(70 = 20 - 5 = 15\)

Let the unknown percentage be \(= x\)

\(15\) is \(x\) % of \(50\)

\(15 = \frac{x}{100} * 50\)

\(x = \frac{15*100}{50} = 30\)%
