A) 45%
B) 40%
C)35%
D) 30%

Total number of Students $$= 50$$

Number of Students who got less than $$30$$ marks $$= 20$$

Number of Students who got more than $$70$$ marks $$= 5$$

Therefore Total number of Students who got less than $$30$$ and more than $$70$$ marks $$= 20 + 5 = 25$$

Given, the remaining Students scored between $$30$$ and $$70$$ marks. ie; $$= 50 - 25 = 25$$

Passing score is $$55$$ marks and $$40$$% students have passed the test $$= 40$$% of $$50 => \frac{40}{100} * 50 = 20$$

Therefore $$20$$ Students passed with $$55$$ marks and above.

We need to find the percentage of students who scored between $$55$$ and $$70$$.

$$5$$ Students have scores more than $$70$$ marks.

Therefore Students who scored between $$55$$ and $$70 = 20 - 5 = 15$$

Let the unknown percentage be $$= x$$

$$15$$ is $$x$$ % of $$50$$

$$15 = \frac{x}{100} * 50$$

$$x = \frac{15*100}{50} = 30$$%
