Can someone explain how OA is D and not C?
Looking at the sequence, the first term will A1 = 1-(1/2) = 1/2
A2 = 1-(1/3) = 2/3
A3 = 1-(1/4)=3/4
A99 = 1-(1/100) = 99/100
A100 = 1-(1/101) = 100/101
If you multiply all, you are left with the last term , 1/101.
Do we have to start with 0 as the first number??

You've asked a great question. On the GMAT, you will be given information about how to label the first term.
For example, in this Official Guide question - https://gmatclub.com/forum/in-the-sequence-x0-x1-x2-xn-each-term-from-x1-to-xk-126564.html - , the first term is denoted as x0, and in this Official Guide question - https://gmatclub.com/forum/a-sequence-of-numbers-a1-a2-a3-is-defined-as-follows-a1-3-a2-220319.html - , the first term is denoted as a1
I also assumed that we were starting with n = 1, but I shouldn't have made this assumption. The question needs some extra information before we can answer it.
NOTE: if we do start with n =0, then the first term = 0, in which case the product is zero, which isn't in the answer choices.
