Hi All
I am a non native MBA applicant from India and have completed my 4-year Bachelors degree from an institute where medium of instruction was English , I am looking to apply to top 30 US B schools , I wanted some clarity on TOEFL exam I have checked no of college websites and they seem to suggest that I can have a TOEFL waiver if medium of intruction was english for my graduation( as in my case) so I want to know if I need to contact various colleges independently to varify this waiver or I can just skip TOEFL for now and submit my application without it and there wont be any problems later on?
Would be really helpful if some of the experienced guys could throw some light on this issue.
P.S-- I checked websites of Tuck,Ross, Darden, Tepper,UCLA among others and they have all mentioned the same thing

Hey,
Indians for the most part have to take the TOEFL (because although the teaching language is English, it's the mother tongue neither of the professors nor of the students). But to be sure, you will have to check with each school you intend to apply to (these are internal regulations, and not global ones)

Yes you are right, there are couple of B-Schools which don't require the TOEFL/IELTS Score. If your medium of instruction was English during your graduation you can write to the adcom and ask for waive.
It depends which B-Schools you are planning to apply. B-Schools you have mentioned above and Purdue, University of Illinois, Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, MIT Sloan, Chicago Booth, Yale, Texas, CMU Tepper and Emory.
You may also gauge your chances of getting admission in a top business school by trying Your Chances for B-School tool https://bit.ly/1Iu9fP4
