Could someone please elaborate on why 2x-6+sqrt(2-x) is not the answer in addition to sqrt(2-x)?

This is on page 28.

Am i a missing something?

bb thanks a bunch! I was looking for this discussion.

As a side note, just wanted to add a small comment. On my recent GMAT, i had to make an actual calculation of the STDEV. However, the STDEV formula was provided. - I didn't expect this concept to be tested and got quite nervous despite the fact that question, given my finance background, was not very hard. Thus, i believe sooner or later GMAC will start to explicitly test this concept.

Thanks for the feedback from the trenches!
They have been mulling over the DTDEV for a while. They have not asked to memorize the formula but they do ask you to understand the relationship of the STDEV and Members in the set, as well as mean, mode, median, etc but these questions are rare.

I'm using the app and going through the pdf pages, I can see there's probably about twice the amount of flashcards in the pdf that in the app, is that correct? Is there a way in which I could upload the missing ones?

Some of the questions answers are confusing, some state the answer is A, but never state what A even is, or even show available answers at all. Is there something I'm missing here? Cause Flashcards that don't tell you whether you are right or not aren't that helpful aside from the ones that explain basic concepts

I don’t see any SC in the verbal 2025 Flashcards

Are you referring to the original flashcards by Whiplash? I did not modify her work. You do not need to worry about sentence correction.
